This product looks like a great idea, but it's really ridiculous. I am sending my three cousins who are away at college care packages, and saw this while at the craft store and thought, 'Hey! Perfect!' because the box says that it makes three cookie gifts.
I knew the cookie pans wouldn't be huge, because on the box it says that the 3 cookies can be made with one tube of cookie dough from the grocery store. But then I realized there were only two pans -- I mean, what is the point of that? They're small pans, and one more would have easily fit in the box. That is another thing! I'm no environmentalist, but the box was twice as wide as it needed to be. It makes it seem like you're really getting something neat. Then you open the box and it's a let-down.
Also, probably the most annoying thing is that there are no cooking instructions. I assume since there are no directions that you'd just follow the recipe for the cookies themselves...but you know how cooking times & temperatures can vary with pan size, etc. They could have at least indicated a time/temperature somewhere.
This product is really a waste. I would have expected better from Wilton. I suggest you just buy a heart shaped pan, and decorate your own boxes!
